A denim studio, not a trend.

Vylte started because the denim we wanted didn't exist. Everything was either safe and modern or a straight copy of 2003. We wanted the proportion of the early 2000s — the low rise, the long flare — made with fabric and finishing that hold up now.

The lace came out of the first sample. Instead of laying it over the denim, we cut it into the side panel and the lower leg so the light moves through it as you walk. It is the detail nobody sees from across the street and everyone notices up close.

We produce in small runs, one colourway at a time. It means sizes sell out and it means we can keep the standard where we want it.
